thank you Joe.i believe it is the milksteak base.to be honest i think i am not using enough soap.i will try to load from the puck next time and not small amounts with a scoop.the blade could be starting to deteriorate also.too many factors this shave.my biggest gripe was the sticky aftershave..again,i will blame the operator,not the tools at this point.

yes sir.after a cold water rinse and a towel dry i applied the aftershave.smelled great,but was tacky/sticky to the touch for at least 15 minutes after application.not used to that with my other aftershaves.ie clubman products or others.i usually associate this with witch hazel aftershaves.i guess i am used to alcohol based aftershaves..again ,user error..don't get me wrong,but i usually don't experience these type of differences.

My shave this morning with Clubman products wasn't so great. What a shame. Wasting Clubman on a "not so great" shave. Course after the Clubman is administered (not talkinabout the aftershave) the rest is up to the shaver. The main area of damage was South Porcupine Alley(chin). 1 cut, 2 Knicks, and no polka-dots, all in that same area. Elsewhere, decent work. 2 passes. This shave deserves what it was-Very Excellent.Some might say, "great shave"but those familiar with my rating chart will know I can do better tomorrow. I will say this....I got a great dose of Clubman .

Absolutely on point shave this morning. Who am I kidding, it is always on point with the MMBT. The ER 200T, which I swiped from my father in the mid ‘70s and reknotted with a synthetic in 2017, easily whipped up a nice slick lather.

Following whipping up the soap in the lather bowl the brush was place in the brush scuttle which have iced water in the bottom reservoir. After a few minutes, the chilled lather was applied. The same procedure was applicable for the next two passes.

The end result was a chilling super close and comfortable shave.

Decided to do a MMOC Monday shave.
Did 3 passes because I had more than enough to do it. BBS shave without any incidents. The alum stung somewhat on my neck, but I expected it. Ditched the blade and then splashed on the matching aftershave. I am out the door for a tutoring session with a student. Take care.
