    I decided to go with the Micromatic Monday theme. I put in a fresh blade and it is my last one in my inventory. I will have to buy more of the Daylogic SE blades from Rite-Aid or some other place. I may just get the real Gems, but I am in no hurry at the moment.
    Evan's brush made a nice creamy and slick lather for this afternoon's shave. I only needed 2 passes to get an outstanding shave without any incidents. The alum gave very little feedback and I finished with the matching aftershave. I have been lazy the last couple of shaves so I will end the month with my Henckel's Friodur tomorrow. Take care.

    Monday January 30 - Just Shaving

    Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black injector with SE open comb plate / Supply Black Label (7)
    Brush: Simpson's Chubby 2 Synthetic
    Soap: TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream (croap)
    Post: Alum, rinse, Thayers Alcohol-free Unscented Witch Hazel spritz, Murray & Lanman Florida Water

    My last shave was January 26, so a four-day stubble to mow.

    I used my Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender cream - one of my favourite scents. It is now a medium-hard croap but still has a strong scent and still builds an excellent lather quite quickly and easily, so I am continuing to use it up. The Simpson's Chubby 2 Synthetic is always a reliable choice of brush.

    Two passes with the razor got me to near BBS.

    The alum was totally silent.

    I was going to use my Ogalalla Bay Rum splash again, but at the last minute grabbed the Florida Water instead. I am smooth and smelling good and ready for the day.
