It was time for a head and face shave so I decided on this setup because it's an easy shave. The Schick I-1 is really a mild autopilot razor. The Barbus Sports Shave Cream is easy to apply and makes a slick lather. Word of caution: this cream is very slick so that it is difficult to grip the razor if you get it on your hands. You need to rinse and dry your hands or hit your fingertips with alum. Also, it doesn't make a voluminous lather, but I tepeat, it is slick. The scent is clean and refreshing. It's light enough that you can pair it with any aftershave.
Did 2 passes on my face and 3 passes on my dome with some pick-ups for both areas for am error-free BBS shave. The alum feedback was more evident on the back of my dome than on my face and neck.
Witch hazel was applied and I splashed a liberal amount of the AV Ice Blue aftershave. All in all, it was a nice and easy session. Take care.

I just finished up a long day of kids sports, adult sports and prep for the first big snowstorm of the winter.

I finished by treating myself to a slow, simple shave with some quality software to backstop the el cheapo razor.

Good day today. No work, lots of fun activity and got much accomplished. Including another easy, great 2 pass BBS/DFS affair to finish it off.

Tomorrow is a snow day. Sleep in, big breakfast, fireplace lit and not much else.

I hope you gents are all enjoying your weekend!

    Consecutive days shaving- 7
Current skin issues or irritation- None so far

Thanks Scott. Every so often, I like easy shaves that don't require much time to finish. Realistically, my straight shaves take me 15 minutes and that's not long.
