good day gents.
fine shave with the brit tech,with it's newly arrived parker 94r 3 inch handle.
the handle was the main attraction to me buying this razor
few folks make a 3 inch length aftermarket handle,karve being another.
i am happy with it,but it's chrome plated instead of nickel.,always something..
it's a simple request nobody seems to fill.
please make a nickel plated 3 inch cool handle..



anyhoo,.fine pdp lather,smooth 2 passer with minor pickups
mountain man menthol a/s to finish.

awesome Joe.i agree with the blade feel.similar to my current gillette blade.it's attribute will be longevity..

Great shave and review Joe. The GSB and Suneko were extremely close to each other for me as well. I thought the GSB's were a smidge smoother.

My problem with the Sunekos is that they have already increased from $3 to $12 delivered for 100. If they are going to be practically the same price as GSB's with a three-week transit time, I will stick with the Gillette's I think.

Of course, I could spend five years trying to shave through all the blades I have, so maybe not that pressing of an issue

There can be great variance in the turn times. My company manufactures in China, so 3/4 of my workday involves being mired in the intricacies of this subject.

I won't bore you all to death with it, but I will say that Chinese New Year shutdowns start on Feb 3rd, and companies will start bleeding staff by next week. If there is something you like on Aliexpress, pull the trigger this week of you can...

Today, I dry loaded my brush to facelather for the shave. I picked out my Dovo Best Quality for the task. Despite the name, this straight razor is the most inexpensive in the Dovo line. It shaves well.

I only did 2 passes for a near BBS shave. There wasn't any blood or irritation. I am not going anywhere special so it was not necessary for me to do the third pass. The alum was silent. Finished the session in my usual manner. Take care.

 

The only part of my shave that didn't feel right to me was the Clubman brush. Smallest knot of all my brushes. It didn't load much soap, which made the 2nd pass more necessary. But I suppose what it DID load was good enough, as somehow it contributed to a nice shave. This bodywash I have now has become my favorite "prep"...it's aa 3-in-1(Face, Body, Hair). Nice and thick coming off the loofah. Zero across the board with cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. I bouught the soap for half the price at Wet The Face than it was priced at E-Bay. Smart business move from Donald Youngner(WTF owner). Super Duper Outstanding.
