    Thanks guys. Got to get lucky sometime i guess. 30 minutes up the road from where we live. The exec really didn't need any cleaning, likely very little used but it was made to be used after all, so I did!

    Great shave this Sunday morning. I think the Stoylin prep and Mike's Natural soap work fine together. Thinking about making this soap(unscented)good for year-round. Clean and clear all over, following 0:50 at the Loading Dock for the soap. Goose-eggs on cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots. 2 healthy passes. The soap felt more comfortable than yesterday's ArtRazor(Ukraine), but I think that just means I'll save the latter for cold weather. The Osage Rub A.S. felt colder today than with the Ukraine soap yesterday. Good-that's how it was made to feel. Closed out with One Man Show cologne. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    Good afternoon.

    Assured for Men/Dollar Tree Razor
    Gillette Wilkinson Sword DE (3)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Tabac SK
    Gentlemen's Nod Zaharoff Signature Series AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 27.5 hrs

    I decided to have an easy Sunday shave. The $1.30 Dollar Tree razor did a fine job. However, it is an aggressive razor and wouldn't put a fresh Feather in it.
    Tabac in stick form always makes a quick an easy slick lather. I would recommend it to newbies that are hesitant to bowl lathering. Of course, there isn't a lather pic.
    Did 3 passes for an excellent error-free shave. The alum feedback was definitely moderate on my neck. Splashed on the witch hazel and the aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.

    Well they are bristle I think, would pay to replace them with a new knot then I guess

    thanks Gary

    Well that's very fresh looking, great looking combo.

    Lovely looking shave Joe. Makes me want to haul out my Tabac again, but will have to wait till this week's focus is over.

    Interesting after shave that.

    Thanks Joe, it should be fun.

    Days growth = 1
    Repeat of yesterday
    Gillette Exec E4 still set at 4. I might just stick with that for a bit more
    Tobs Oud again.
    Blade = Permasharp (2), still a nice performer on day 2
    Passes = 2 ++, enuf’s enuf, right?
    Scent = Oudh Malak, Black Oud
    Damage = none

    Another successful shave. Interesting that on the 2nd pass there were once again areas where it felt as if the blade wasn’t quite biting enough, similar to the Flare tip of last week.

    I thunk a thought (didn’t Pooh Bear used to do that?)…

    Yes, we all do our beard mapping (hope we all do!) so we know which way the wind blows, right?
    I think it’s also fair to say that not all the hair in our beards are made equal, some might be thicker or thinner, or tougher. (Is there a hair-o-meter or “beardometer” out there somewhere?)

    But I think that maybe not all beard hairs lie at the same angle on the face. Some lie flatter than others and are maybe harder to get to. Skin stretching, yes. ATG in those areas, yes. Maybe those areas also need more blade exposure, more blade gap, or more pressure, or all of the above? What think ye, lads?

    South Porcupine was a little stubborn this morning, as once again I developed a cut, though less scary than in previous times. Once I get down to that chin, I must stop and tell myself to be real careful. Otherwise, a great shave . The Plissoft brush does a fine job scooping up shavesoap. Face and neck got a good paint job. One cut, zero Knicks,Polka-dots. 2 passes. Thankfully the cold-water rinse and cold Osage A.S. killed off the cut appearance. Again One Man Show to finish. Very Outstanding. Now for a couple days of sophisticated goo cream.

    You mention mirrors-that's why I don't shave in the shower-I don't have any shower mirrors.
