Very nice intro Joe. I think I am going to go with a modification: One Soap July Weekdays. The soap of choice shall be Cella.

SRS # 1123 - Just One Soap July Weekdays - Cella

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Drew Dick 7/8” Half Hollow Damascus
    Brush: Semogue Hereditas - Boar
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: Cella Crema da Barba
    Aftershave: Cella Milano
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Fabulous Cella shave courtesy of the DD custom razor. I loaded the soap off of the puck for about 30 seconds then proceeded to bowl lather until I got the soap the way I like it.

I did my customary three passes. The end result was a super close shave that the missus happily approved.

Hope you all had a great day.

Well done Joe. I have had a few of the soap made from this artisan. All have produced fabulous lathers. The price, due to shipping from Spain, makes it hard to repurchase.

Thanks Joe. I believe Maggards and the Razor Co. and possibly Pasteur's stocked that brand.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

    (Face & Head Shave.)

A relaxing combined face & head shave to start July of wonderfully.

Everything in my shave this morning paired together superbly.

Starting off the month off with the 1960's Gillette Slim Twist which was my first ever vintage Gillette DE razor passed on to me by a friend of the family when I first started out. Maiden combined face & head shave with the Gillette Slim. The Chinese Super Gillette Blue was a good match for the mild, yet efficient slim twist feeling comfortable smooth & efficient.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

To describe my shave today,I refer to our former member Edison Carter's use of the basseball term "bullpen". It was a rough beginning, as I developed some Knicks along each side of Porcupine(painless, but there they were). A minute at the Loading Dock, but I should have loaded better, as the remaining soap is along the perimeter of the puck ONLY. I think that was the problem-not enough soap on the Jayaruh(#59). I'll work on that tomorrow(course I'll have a different brush, but I don't blame the Jayaruh for the loading issue-that baby is on ME). Clean and clear everywhere except for Porcupine, as mentioned. 2 passes(I did a re-load for pass #2). The Clubman Reserve Gent's Gin came in from the aforementioned bullpen to save me. (Course the cold-water rinse prior to the A.S. helped in that persuasion, as well). Gent's Gin is like drinking Gin while having your shave and haircut at the barbershop. One Man Show cologne to close. Very Outstanding(course that means it should have been better, but good enough).

Brush: PAA The Green Ray 24 mm
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap

Excellent travel day shave. I chose to do a face lather to shave some time, approximately 3 minutes since that is how long I take to get the soap the way I want whe I bowl lather. Three passes with the TI straight delivered a close and comfortable shave.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.
