    Better shave this morning than previous mornings, as I just had a Knick on S. Porcupine, whereas there were cuts before. I put my plan into action and went a little easier there. I hope and expect to make this habit forming. With this "Dynamic Duo" of Proraso, what I want is no problems there at all, or ANWHERE(non, nein, rien, nada, nyet). The Knick was the only problem in an overall very nice shave. One pass. With this Proraso Foam I now have 2 canned shave products. Course before I joined here, as well as my early days as a member, it ws ALL lovely goo. Then I tried that Stephan soap/.cream and experienced that great feeling on my face and neck I asked, "Gee, what ELSE can I try?" The rest has been history.(Course as we know I still use lovely goo on occasion). Most Outstanding.

    SRS # 1134 - Just One Soap July Weekdays - Cella

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: JR Torrey Celebrated Hollow Ground
    Brush: Shore Shave Player 26 mm
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: Cella Crema da Barba
    Aftershave: PAA Sangre de Drago
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    An overcast, muggy day but that did not stop me from adding the PAA splash to finish out this shave. Cella continues to perform well. This soap is one of the few in my den that I load the brush directly from the pick (the others are the soaps that I have stored I have in a mug).

    The JR Torrey straight delivered a flawless shave. No PTisms! In the words of our dear friend, Jeff, @jgreenepa; “My face is smooth and velveteen.”

    Tomorrow will be our monthly chapter meeting between Joe, @Trigger, and myself. È ora di mangiare.
    Hopefully our favorite waitress will be working.

    How this for habit forming?

    No mention of any crimson even if there is an occurrence. Perhaps if you don’t mention it, it will become habit forming and will eventually lead to non occurrence in your shaves.

    Sometimes you do what your mind expects when you have no intention of doing it.

    One can only hope.

    Good points John. 'might' still look at a Henson later on but I have enough for now. The Hydromagic is even easier to clean due to its opening mechanism

    I think I would hate to drop a rare treasured razor, hard to find another one, unless its a common one or course, but these things do happen
    Thanks Gary

    Very nice. The more Tabac the Better! I don't have the cologne, might put this on my Xmas wishlist

    Cool setup, and gritty determination Joe.

    Thanks Joe

    Decided to shave after all, couldn’t resist

    Days growth = 1

    Prep = HOT water prep
    Preshave = PR preshave
    Cream/Soap = Tabac in a tub
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Schick type M adjustable @3
    Blade = Schick SE (3) still going well
    Passes = 2++
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, Cold Water Rinse, pat dry, Thayers,
    ASL = Tabac AS balm and Lotion

    Score = 9.8 / 10 ----------Minimal stubble left lower neck muscle, so can’t call this a 10

    Damage = None, alum was mild

    Thoughts = another super smooooth shave, liking this very manoeuvrable razor more and more

    A late post from Yesterday, but hope you all had a Great Wednesday

    Got my second shave in today since starting this focus on the same Derby Extra. I almost switched blade because it is already tugging.

    Read the marketing and it is Chromium, Ceramic, Polymer, Tungsten coated. To me it sounds like marketing buzz. I cannot imagine 4m coatings.
