    Greetings,

The Erasmic shave is another inexpensive shaving cream that doesn't have much of a scent, but makes up for it's performance and post shave feel.

A comfortable close 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

2 days growth, works best for me

Hot water prep, T&H No. 10 preshave, T&H Sandalwood, Tuckaway, Permasharp (1), Chubby 2
    ASL Old Spice
    Santal Spirit EdT
2 passes, then ATG where possible: super smooth

It's been a good Tuckaway focus this last week

This week I will stick with the T&H products and the Chubby 2. It's finally shedding less bristles, hopefully I can tease them all out by the end of the week

Have a great Sunday one and all

Great shave set up Chris. Lovely sandalwood themed shave...I'll have to dig out my Proraso Sandalwood, even though it's not exactly a Summer scent but I like to occasionally use it in the summer too.

    Good afternoon.

    Shavette Shave #562
    Parker SRB
    Derby 1/2 DE Blade (5)
    J T Spartan Synthetic Brush
    TSD Orange SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29.5 hrs

    20240707_152817.jpg

I went with my Parker SRS and TSD Orange bundle for this afternoon's shave. I only needed a 2 passer to get me a very close shave. I didn't cause any skin damage this time around which is always a good thing. I really hydrated this soap that it was very thin, but slick. Apparently, it worked well. Here's my lather:

I had negligible alum feedback and that's always a plus. Applied the witch hazel and then the aftershave to finish. Under my old grading system, I rate this shave an A. Have a great day guys.

I'm back - and should stay back this time. For those who remember me, it's been a long, long journey back.

The last time I posted here I was hoping to be able to rejoin the happy shavers of The Shave Den and begin to open up my collection. It was packed up and put into storage in 2020, and now, finally, nearly 4 years after that day it's time to rediscover it.

The picture is of the first several boxes I unpacked today. Most of my razors are not in this picture yet. Some are in the shaving (tackle) box I have yet to reopen, and some are still MIA in boxes somewhere in the garage. We moved into our new home three days ago so boxes are still stacked.

Anyway, for those who remember me give me a shout. And, be prepared to have me ask questions as I'm fuzzy on what a lot of these things are. I'm going to be doing research again to rediscover all my treasures, such as they are.

I did shave earlier today using my Wunderbar, Stirling Sheep and a Stirling synthetic brush. It's been my go to for the past several years. I've also only been shaving about once every two weeks. I hope to remedy that in the next few days.

Looking forward to reconnecting with those still around and making some new acquaintences.

    Shave on!

    Neal

I remember you......good to see you again :). I have Stoylin Sheep, although it's getting low, and other Stoylins. You have a nice collection :). I've discovered some new artistans oxer the years, but I must catch myself before going TOO shave-crazy. Proraso is one(I see you have the green tub). Welcome back Neal-take care.

For those of you who don't know, Neal was the 2nd moderator of this thread. He likes Russian blades and has a wealth of shaving info. The first moderator was BamaSamurai (Chris). The third one was Primotenore (Maestro) and of course, there is yours truly. Welcome back Neal.

Nice to see you still kicking around here Paul. I actually have all three of the Prorasos, just hard to tell in that mess of a table. I'm pretty happy with the condition of the soaps after such a long time in storage. Most of them look like they'll return to their former glory with just a little work with water and a brush. And the scents all seem intact.

Thanks Trigger. I'm finding my wealth of info is a bit rusty, particularly toward items in my collection. However, I still ride the cap and love my pain sticks. Russian blades are still the finest on the globe. Fortunately I bought nearly a lifetime supply back in the day before the Evil Empire rose again.
