Thanks Gary. I am glad that I have the 6C and the Model T version one in my den. These razors are almost idiot proof.

I was just having some dinner at a Chic-Fil-A near my home and on my way back I decided to go to my local pharmacy to see if they have any Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave. This pharmacy has a minimal inventory of the aftershave so it's a hit-or-miss and it usually is a miss. I was surprised to see one left on the shelf so I grabbed it because my other bottle is about done. So here it is!

glad you like them.i still ponder on a karve or colonial silversmith from time to time but i've really got better shaves lately by trying some different vintage blades.some of my gillettes have really respond well to them.i will eventually pair down my collection as i really don't need so many ,but that's a future Brit, not a present one..;)

Thanks Gary. You have a wide assortment of vintage Gillette razors and they are stars in my book. The temptation of trying a different style/brand of any razor is pretty big Like you, I am happy with what I have and don't see the need to buy any hardware in the near future. Really, how many razors do we really need? Lol! It's a hobby and it is a great one. However, compared to other hobbies like collecting motorcycles, vintage cars, etc., it is an inexpensive one.

We have Sally's Beauty supply on Long Island. I have to check if they have the talc because I love that scent. It reminds me when I went to the barber and they would use that powder on the back of my neck after using a straight.

I use all my razors. My problem is that it's hard to chose one of many! That's why I have a rotation of shavette, straight and safety, but not necessarily in that order. Sometimes, I will double up on the razor type.

i do agree.i now tend to use higher end gillettes(aristocrats) with top shelf products, just for the thrill of being able to do so..in reality it wouldn't of happened when they were new,we are blue collar working folk..but am am glad to see rich folk don't have much better these days..:D..we get to use the real golden age of shaving products..:):eatdrink047:

Agree. I just marvel at how well my vintage straights and safeties shave. As you know, some of my straights are about 100 or more years old. It simply is amazing.
