    Nice shave on this "Way Of Wednesday". A minute at the Loading Dock(0:30 in each direction). Mike's to the rescue again! I'm beginning to see the bottom already(didn't think I would so soon). 2 healthy passes. No damage. The Stoylin Coniferous Glacial A.S. has more focus on the scent than the chill, but that's OK. Good to get SOME cold feeling. As Good As It Gets.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

    The Erasmic shave cream is another inexpensive shaving cream that doesn't have much of a scent, but makes up for it's performance and post shave feel.

    A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Blue Stratos Original Blue ASL.

    My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Great post. How do you find the Ogallala bay rum? Oh, and more to the point, where did you source that from?

    Thanks Gary: I saw an Old Spice mug last week in Guildford, but no lid with it, so I gave it a miss

    Thanks Gary

    Classy shave and setup

    Great Tabac shave Joe
    You guys are lucky to have access to the Aqua Velva's over there :)

    Perfect, yes thanks Joe

    Nice shave. More Aqua Velva!
    Lucky man to have 3 dens: Northern, Southern, and the Shave Den.

    Lovely vintage setup Gary

    Nice shave Barry. Tested the Blue Stratos this morning at the local pharmacy. I think I might have to go back there, it's quite pleasant and durable

    2 Days growth

    Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Derby Menthol, starting a new tube! Happy days
    Soap = Derby
    Brush = Omega Pura setola
    Bowl = white Plastic
    Razor = Eversharp Hydromagic black handle L-1
    Blade = Personna PTFE (3)
    Passes = 2 and done
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
    ASB = L’OCCITANE Homme CAP Cedrat provided the necessary skin protection
    ASL = Clubman Pinaud
    Scent = Pinaud Lime Sec Cologne

    Somewhat summery scents on a cool dreary day, but nevertheless a great super smooth start to a another day
    The Derby Menthol cream almost has no menthol
    The Derby soap (shave stick mashed into a bowl) is dry both during and after the shave
    I think it might be good for Mediterranean complexions, but even though I regard my skin as oily I still found this somewhat drying. It will benefit from some additives, I guess I will try add some glycerine next time
    Great and easy to lather though

    Have a great day!

    Pretty good Throwback shave this morning. Not without a couple "issues of negativity" in the form of 2 Knicks(each side of one lip)and a cut near the jawline at S.Porcupine. They turned out to be harmless, they just LOOKED bad. Maybe not enough Proraso soap applied at those areas. Course that's me, not the Proraso. Fine elsewhere. Surprisingly the Skin-Bracer application resulted in some Niagra Falls action-I didn't think it would do that, like the Aqua Velva does. I'll be more careful tomorrow. Pretty Outstanding.

    Here's a detail I forgot(until just now)in describing the Maggard brush I used this morning-the attractive Marble handle. Senior moment?
