Excellent Fougere shave this morning as I prepare to ride up to snowy Buffalo later this afternoon to see the New York Rangers tomorrow afternoon. I did my usual routine after getting Anthony off to school. (X3Bar Push workout, warm shower and iced water shave)

Three passes with the C-Mon razor has left my face smooth and refreshed. The post shave alum report was nonexistent. The Brocha aftershave is a nice scent but the longevity is short lived. I will probably give myself a splash of Brut before I head out the door this afternoon. Need to smell good on the ride up.

I am beginning to appreciate that. So many sweet spots and variables to get the hang of, it's the personal challenge of a new skill set, I guess. Beginning to see the sense of the 30 day rule for the more disciplined folk, but I am enjoying my own little focus anyway. Looking forward to the weekend and the MWF again tomorrow.

I haven't had this amount of stubble in over 3 months and I welcomed it with my Dovo Shavette. I decided to make a creamy lather for this morning’s shave using the froth method. It definitely was Stirling slick. Lol!
I made more than enough soap to make more than 3 passes. In fact, I did the unfathomable and never before did 4 passes of WTG, ATG, XTG and finally ATG. I did 4 passes because the blade is not as sharp. I usually get 15 to 20 shaves on a blade, but it seems like I may have to bin it before 15 shaves.
Anyway, the alum didn't give any feedback and the Proraso Green aftershave was very soothing and refreshing. Take care.
