    Prep = 3 x cold water soak
    Preshave = TOBS Jermyn street massage
    Soap = Sterling Margaritas in the Arctic
    Brush = Omega 10049
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Merkur 37C
    Blade = Gillette Platinum
    Passes = 2 +
    Multidirectional strokes in each area during each pass
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, CWR, Thayers,
    ASL = Pinaud Lime Sec EdC
    Damage = none
    Scary smooth shave with the slick GP and 37C, this razor is suited to my facial contours
  6. South Porcupine took another hit-2 actually. I'm trying to make "go softer" into a habit. Again, like the other day, I blame me, not the soap. So strange, in that yesterday I did real well, but today, not nearly. Thankfully, I did fine in all other areas(cheeke&sideburns, N. Porcupine, Cactus). 2 passes. 2 cuts, no Knicks, no Polka-dots. The cold-water rinse and Bay Rum A.S. calmed things down in good fashion. Very Mediocre.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Drew Dick 7/8” Half Hollow Damascus
    Brush: Semogue Hereditas - Boar
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: Stirling Piacenza
    Aftershave: Stirling Piacenza
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Piacenza EdT
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    I have not reached for the Stirling Piacenza since my return from Europe last July. Just too many other choices. I do miss this scent.

    The custom DD straight easily mowed down this morning’s growth. Every now and then I get one of those post shave ten minute weepers. Everything is all completed and put away and then, whalla, up pops the weeper.

    The Piacenza EdT adds a nice finishing touch that will last throughout the day.

    Hope you all are having a nice day.
