    (Face & Head Shave)

    A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend..

    The Edwin Jagger shave cream provided a wonderful slick lather in a short space of time....The scent to my nose is a nice clean zest scent that doesn't over power your senses, but lingers in between each pass leaving a wonderful post shave feel.

    Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

    My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

    Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Razor: Genco-Old Dutch 3/4”
    Brush: Hembree Derlin Paragon Boar 25 mm
    Lather: Wholly Kaw King of Oud
    Aftershave: Razorock Stallion
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    Wonderful shave with the King of Oud and Genco straight. Danny’s, @Hembree, Derlin handle fitted with the Paragon Boar brush whipped up a voluminous lather. Of course the lather was chilled nicely in the iced watered brush scuttle.

    Three passes led to a super smooth shave with minimal post alum report. Looked good for this dearly Saturday.

    Hope you all have an enjoyable day.

    Fine shave overall. 2 passes. No damage. While I must deal with the "Ike-JFK" confusion on the scent, it's one of my favorites, no doubt. I'm surprised I don't see any Eight And Bob dupes from other artisans. AS OUTSTANDING AS IT GETS.

    Shaving Recipe for today.

    Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
    Brush: Semogue 1470.
    Face lather
    Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) with Tea Tree & Lavender.
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
    Razor: Parker 24C.

    Post:
    Cold Water face rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne./Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

    Greetings,

    A wonderful lather from the HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) The Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils gives the soap a pleasant mild medicinal scent with a wonderful post shave feel from the lanolin making my mature rhino skin feel superb.

    I count myself very fortunate that that my skin type doesn't have any adverse reaction from the lanolin & essential oils that are added to the HWF soaps.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

    My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    March Mitchell’s Match-up and Mix up

    2 Days growth

    Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Palmolive Lather shave regular
    Cream/Soap = Stirling Bergamot and Lavender
    Brush = Omega boar 10049
    Bowl = white plastic bowl
    Razor = Gillette NEW No 77 thin handle tech 1945 46.8 grams
    Blade = Permasharp (1)
    Passes = 2 and done
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal, TOBS royal forest
    ASL = Proraso Barbe Dure with Oud drops
    Scent = Proraso Wood and Spice
    Score = 9.9 / 10
    Damage = none

    I dug out this little razor I got a few months ago, time to give it another go. With a fresh blade I decided that I needed thick lather so I whipped up some Stirling and lathered straight over the top of the Palmolive for a delightful thick and slick super lather. Not a bubble in sight. Using the heavier Muhle Rocca 96 in the last few days taught me to use a lighter touch which came in handy today. Two passes only needed for one of the smoothest shaves yet. This little razor is a keeper

    Saw my skin check Dr last week. Strangely the solar keratosis that I was planning to have removed because I could no longer shave over it has gone flat. Maybe gone into hiding, still dark, but seems OK. No idea how or why it got smaller on its own but glad its gone. Another ray of sunshine on a blessed Sunday

    Have a great Sunday lads and lad-esses

    Back to the Muhle tomorrow

    Wow, you are planning for April already. I am still just getting used to it being March Lol!

    Some posters say the Yaqi DOC Mellon is a mild one. I believe its a clone of another but remain confused about which is mild and which is aggressive. Any comments Barry?
