I did indeed...Looked a bit better than previous lathers. 50 it is :). Course we'll see how the triple-milled soaps look.

Thank you Charlie. Yes, college hockey can be quite entertaining both on the ice and in the stands.

I dug up some history, Paul. Over the years, we've had the Louisville Blades, Shooting Stars, Rebels, Icehawks, RiverFrogs, and Panthers. By gum, I do live in a Hockey Town! I'm fairly sure we saw the Icehawks and maybe also the RiverFrogs.

If I hear of any rumblings for a new hockey team, I'll pitch your team name suggestion of Racers. It's a good one, but it might go over better in nearby Indianapolis where the 500 runs.

We went to see our Minor League baseball team play yesterday, The Louisville Bats. It was a fun day, and they won. Minor League Baseball has gained more popularity around here over the years, especially since Louisville Slugger bats are made here.

I have to thank Gary for his input. It's not my razor, but it belongs to one the ladies at the Senior Center.

    Good deal, Paul.

Gary's lathering advice is on the money. It's better when I overload a brush with soap or cream, add water slowly, and take my time to build the lather I'm looking for. I add water slowly until the soap won't take anymore regardless of how much I work it with the brush. The signal to me is that it just starts to "break" or thin out. That's when I stop adding water. For me, that's when the lather is just right when it comes to slickness on the skin...@trigger's lather shots capture the desired consistency well.

I thought I knew how to build a good lather until I got a bowl and really started to focus on it. I have learned that a properly hydrated lather makes my shave much more comfortable, and the chances for nicks is greatly reduced. It's also a good way to get focused on the shave itself...very relaxing.

If she'll loan it to you, Joe, it would make a fun focus.

@JACarbone I've been away for awhile. Would you please share the backstory on Joe's dumbo bowl? How am I supposed to tease him about it, or better yet, embellish the story? I'm guessing it has something to do with the waitress where you guys meet, or possibly with the gals at Joe's various get-togethers. Too bad there are no Piggly Wiggly's in LI.
