Came back with Proraso this morning(Fri). For the second dayin a row, I completely missed an area(I just went back now to get it). This time it was the right side of North Porcupine(under right nostril). That was embarrassing, especially in not realizing I missed it til just before I corrected the problem. That embarrasment cost me a to-ranked grade, as I did great everywhere else. I squeezed out a lot of the foam, too...just didn't put enough onto Northeast Porcupine. What a relief it will be tomorrow to return to shavesoaps for a week or so. It will be "Eight Days A Weeek" to be exact. But as I say, real nice job today overall. Zeroes across the board in cuts, Knicks, Polka-fots. One pass. Nice finish with the Prororaso aftershave. . Pretty Outstanding.

Did a 2 passer for a close, comfortable face shave. Unfortunately, on my second pass, I got a micro nick under my lower lip. I attribute it by not making enough lather and landed a little too steep. Despite the thin lather, it was still slick. Anyway, the alum took care of it and it's not noticeable because it's adjacent to the colored portion of my lip. I had negligible feedback from the alum.

Captain's Choice provides a nice slick lather and the 45th Parallel smells like cherries, but it's not syrupy sweet. Here's my lather:



I applied the witch hazel and splashed on a generous portion of the wonderful aftershave. Despite the micro nick, I consider it an A- shave. Take care.

Lather: La Barbiera Sweet Orange Shaving Soap.

Razor: Ming Shi 2000s Futur clone. (Settings) 3-wtg,4-atg,+pick ups.

La Barbiera Shaving Soap Week.

(Face & Head Shave)

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

Maiden shave with the vegan La Barbiera Shaving Soap one of four soaps that I've had for a while but haven't got round to trying them out due to me reaching for my regular favourites. I'll be trying out the four soaps through out the week. I've started with the Sweet Orange, all of four shaving soaps have a pleasant scent which are slightly synthetic but, not overpowering to the point where it's offensive.

what I find impressive is the soap created an protective lather in a short space of time and doesn't dissipate on application the shea butter leaves a good post shave feel. The fragrance isn't the most important The three things that I like to test for in a shaving soap/cream are slickness protection, & post shave feel all three are essential especially for head/dome shaving.

The La Barbiera Shaving Soap gave all three this morning. What more can I ask for. I look forward to trying out the other three soaps throughout the week.

Another close comfortable combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.
