I was going to hold off until tomorrow morning, but decided to go with this easy setup. I don't bowl lather creams from the tube because it's easier to face lather in one step. I just place the cream on the brush and wet it before I apply it to my face and neck. It is one less thing to rinse. Anyway, it produces a slick lather. The I-1 is almost nick proof and it gave me a very close, comfortable shave without any skin damage. The alum feedback gave a decent amount of burn on my neck. Splashed on the witch hazel to finish this shave. I didn't use any aftershave because I forgot to bring one out. Also, I am not going anywhere so I didn't feel the need for am aftershave. It's why there isn't one in the pic. Take care.

Same again with the Lady Eversharp, day 4
The long handle can be a bit troublesome when going NS in the lower neck area, but gives good reach behind the neck, so that’s a fair trade off

When comparing it side by side with the Hydromagic with the shorter black handle, it seems the Lady Eversharp cap is wider. Also its Hydromagic lever is a bit looser, as is the spring holding the blade in place. Could it be someone used a Schick twin blade in there in the past? I do have some of those, ordered in error from Connaught’s last year, so when this current blade seems a bit dull, I might see if that will fit

Really chilly down here this morning, cold front, tap water only 17C so this was a warm water shave, which turned out well after 2+ passes with no blood letting or raising of polka dots or similar

Fine Latigo and Arabian sunset EdP to try and perk up the mood, here, socks, scarves, fleecy tops, long tracksuit pants. May be time of a heater or two tonight!

Have a great Wednesday one and all

PS: Is there a site/link that references which modern or vintage SE razors will take a Schick Twin blade?

Thanks Chris. It's important that I use all my razors in my den. However, I like to place straights and shavettes in the SE category. Lol! However, I believe there is a shavette that uses full DE blades. I think Vanta is the brand.

Terrific shave Chris. Winter is just around the corner in your neck of the woods. Off the top of my head, I am not familiar with any site that shares that info.
