Awesome pics and shave Scott. VdH soap is definitely not a top tier soap, but it does the job. It's a good soap for a beginner wetshaver who doesn't want to spend beaucoup dollars. Once my VdH soap is Fitzgerald, I would not be looking to replace it because I prefer more scented soaps. Btw, nice lather. Enjoy your day.
Nice soap shave today from Mike's Natural. Only issue was a cut in mid-Cactus Nation(neck). No pain. No Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes. That second pass was MOST NECESSARY, I'll tell you that right now(oh, I just DID tell you that). Fine job on N.E. Porcupine, the extra work up there paid off. I think the cut at Cactus threw me off stride for handling the rest of the area, but I did OK. Being thrown off stride happens to me a lot in life, let alone shaving. Very Outstanding. That comment looks good on paper, but to me it means there's room for improvement.
Thank you Joe. Using both the merkur 34c & Edwin jagger r89 over the month have gave me consistently error free shaves, today was no exception... Have a great day.
Great looking shave Gary Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person on this website who is not also a professional photographer lol
Agree 100% Joe. It fits nice in the small Cella container, so I think I can work it into my travel rotation.
That VdH will melt nicely in the microwave - a couple of 10-12 second bursts in a microwave safe container, and there ya go.
thank you Scott..i started taking pictures with my phone when i started shaving with gillette DE in 2016.the 2 just continued together ever since..
