Closed out Neumann November with.....a Bill Neumann! Perhaps that sounds odd, but I didn't get around to using it much in November. Shux.Good loading of the Razorock Gold. Clean and clear all around. 2 passes. Zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. With this crummy cold I have, I somehow managed to smell the Neumann 1907. I've always been happy with Razorock soaps. As Outstanding As It Gets. Nice way to finish November, although, as I say, I should have used more Bill Neumann.

I wanted to end the month shaving with my Parker Shavette and using the Limoncello soap from Ariana and Evans. I really like this soap, despite the scent being a 3 on a scale of 10. It's slick and lathers well as long as you add enough water and work it. Here's my lather:

I really didn't need to shave this afternoon because yesterday's shave with my R102 was really close, but now I am accustomed to shaving daily. Did a three pass shave that was comfortable and smooth without any blood appearing.

I got a zing on my chin, but nothing else from the alum block. Applied witch hazel and that nice matching aftershave to finish this very fine shave. Take care.

Razor: Drew Dick 7/8” Half Hollow Damascus
    Brush: Jayaruh 381 Badger/Boar
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
Lather: Old Cahaba Shave Club Brocha
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Brocha
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Fantastic shave this morning. I am laying low due to the flu. I must say that I am better than yesterday. I am not use to just lounging the whole day, not my nature.

Another done shave with the Drew Dick straight. Super close and error free. The Edmund Fitzgerald will be calling for the tub of Brocha next Thursday as I have three shaves left in the tub.

Next month, half of my shave will be of the DE variety. I just cannot commit to an entire month as I would miss using my straights.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

I would like too, but this time of the year the "cold" water coming out of the "cold water" tap verges on tepid. Either way, both work for me

Thanks Joe, appreciate the compliment and all the advice as we travel together on this forum.

    Look Ma...both hands!

It just struck me now, as you mentioned in an earlier post you really do use both hands. Nice demonstration once again Joe. I will stick to DE though, good enough for me.

Thanks Chris. Using a straight or a shavette isn't for everyone. However, some of the same principles of shaving stillapply when using safeties.
