Fine Veterans shave Joe, that Limoncello looks and sounds appealing

Triple 5/5 shaves, got to be happy with that

    Thanks Joe

Good tip, I have enough soaps, so no need to skimp!

Fine shave this morning with a Stoylin I haven't used too often-Ramblin'Man. It smells like it could pass for a cologne dupe. A minute at the Loading Dock for the soap. Clean and clear all over. No damage done. 2 passes. A little extra work required for both ends of Porcupine Alley, but they(the sides)look great now. Ready to face the day with confidence. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    November 12 SOTM Headshave

    Good morning.

    Rockwell 6C plate # 6)
    Voskhod DE Blade (5)
    Barbury Synthetic Brush
Captain's Choice North SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch
    Dome Turf: 5 days

    20241112_095219.jpg

I have been getting lazy doing headshaves and with 5 days growth, I desperately was in need of one. I picked the Rockwell 6C because it is hard to nick yourself with it. Also, it has some heft so that it will shave my extensive turf quite readily.

I went with the CC North because the scent is not overbearing and it produces a slick, creamy lather with ease. Here is my lather:

Did 3 error-free passes plus touchups to get a cueball smooth shave. However, I did get some alum feedback on the lower back of my noggin. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to finish this shave. Take care.

SRS # 1201 -The Edmund Fitzgerald of Busta’s Blend

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: AA Gen Takahashi Tokusei
Brush: Hembree Derlin Paragon Boar 25 mm
    Lather: Tim’s Soap Busta’s Blend
    Aftershave: Pinuad Citrus Musk
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

An excellent final shave with the Busta’s Blend soap. Today it fulfilled its destiny with the Edmund Fitzgerald. I will miss the wonderful lather this soap had produced. Three passes to super smoothness without any mishaps.

Hope you all had a great day gentlemen.
