I've never had the pleasure of trying Mennen Skin-skin bracer, but I've read that the Sin-bracer has a similar scent to Brut without being in your face, and slightly weaker.

2 Days growth
Exact same setup as 2 days ago
Soap = Lea soap
Brush = Pura Setola, soaked, shaken lightly
Bowl = coconut bowl
Razor = No 66 Gillette birth year Aristocrat: 6th time out
Blade = Vintage Gillette super stainless (3)
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea Balm
ASL = Clubman Whiskey Woods
Scent = Bulgari Wood Essence
Damage = none
Passes = 2 plus clean ups

Probably as close to a 10/10 as one could get with any shave, but there is always room for improvement so I will call this a 9.9/10
Great fun, very enjoyable, smoother than last time

This razor and blade combo are incredible. ATG everywhere felt safe as houses

Nov 16 SOTM Head and Face Shave

Good morning.

Rockwell Model T v1 (setting 4)
Dorco ST 300 DE Blade ( fresh )
Parker Synthetic Brush
Stirling Spice SS and AS
Stirling Alum Block
Personal Care Witch Hazel
Beard Growth: 1 day
Dome Turf: 4 days



Loaded my Rockwell T with a brand new Dorco Blade. I set the dial to 4 because I know these blades are a little rougher than my other blades. Still, I got great results. 3 passer on the dome and 2.5 passes on the face and neck did the trick. I did get a weep on the back of my head so after the alum treatment I checked it. It seems that the alum treatment did its job.

I went with the Stirling Spice and I am glad I did. The scent is fabulous and the lather speaks for itself. See below.



Finished with the witch hazel and the fine matching aftershave. I am ready to face the world. Take care.

very similar feel to the LEA but better scent
Brush = Pura Setola
Bowl = white plastic
Razor = No 66 Gillette birth year Aristocrat: 7th time out
Blade = Vintage Gillette super stainless (4), still performing well
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
ASL = Cella ASL
Scent = Bulgari Wood Essence
Damage = none
Passes = 2 plus clean ups

Another pleasant shave
The Cyril R Salter has a nice mellow nutty scent, so I chose the Cella ASL to compliment that

Brush: Omega S10018.
Face Lather.
Lather: Nivea Men Body Shaving Stick.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Parker 87R.

Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL./Cien Men Sensitive ASB.
