Super Sunday Shave Joe. If I am not mistaken, Murphy and McNeil has bear tallow soaps. Since you like dark soaps, may I suggest, Barbershop de Los Muertos. It comes with Tallow or Aon base. There are other M and M soaps with bear tallow as well.

Real good shave this morning, as I officially kicked off "Neumann November" with their Heartwood offering. A minute at the Loading Dock with the Razorock "Tricolore" brush.Clean and clear all over, well with one exception-I didn't quite get all of the right-side jawline(just under the sideburn). Actually, I just went in and took care of that before doing this report. Still, not when I SHOULD have. Fine finish with the Heartwood A.S. Since last year's Neumann November, I purchased two aftershaves(1911 and Signature 1907) for better variety. By the way, for those who just signed on, or who may not know(or forgot)...the official name is Wm. Neumann&Co. I just like playing around with his company name. I have a feeling that their 1911 is their favorite(course they like ALL their products, but it's like when Doc Ezlovan at Stoylin was quoted as saying "Xecutive Man by far"when asked which is his most popular). Bill Neumann devotes a special section to his 1911 offerings. Maybe my next of his soaps will be the 1911. Anyway, Super Duper Outstanding for the shave..

 

fine Neumann shave Paul.i still have my 1907 tub,rarely use it.i have a feeling the 1911 is an improved version scent wise,and more popular.

 

I think you're right, Gary...actually, I put the 1907 over Heartwood, but the 1911 over both. Can you match your 1907 tub with an unscented A.S.? I've been doing that-matching my 1911 A.S. with an unscented tub(Mike's Natural).

i'm sure i could.i use the barrister and man reserve waves aftershave with it..very similar.plus i 3017'd the waves soap already

That could be said for other months as well depending upon the parameters that a specific wetshaver chooses.
