Thanks Joe. I had to edit my post because I neglected to state that I used the Parker shavette and to change Razor to Blade for the Rockwell edge.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave.

A wonderful shave from my 1960's slim twist. Gillette got it so right with their vintage DE razors.

Everything in my very eclectic shave set up this morning worked together superbly.
An enjoyable 2 pass + pick-ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Wonderful shave, pic and setup Barry. I agree that Gillette vintage razors were made very well. Have a great rest of the day.

I am continuing to do bowl lathering for this morning’s shave.
I decided to use my very first lathering bowl that I bought at Dollar Tree. As you can see below, it is made of very soft plastic. I bought 2 bowls for just a $1.08 a piece.

Like I have always said, you don't need to buy fancy, schmancy bowls to make a good lather. My six bowls cost me under $8.00. Here is today's lather:

I picked out the Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh SS because I hardly used it. I bought it 3 yrs ago and the tub is still 99 percent full. It's my least favorite scent, but it still performs like a champ.
This Personna Hairshaper Blade is still sharp after 11 shaves because it whisked away my stubble without any problems. I usually get 15 to 16 shaves on these blades. Did a 2 pass shave with one touchup on my right neck for an error-free BBS shave. I didn't get much feedback from the alum. Finished the shave with my usual routine. Surprisingly, I didn't get any burn from the aftershave. Take care.

The Stoylin "li'l brudder" was a nice setup for my shave this morning. It won the Brush Group as a nomination for the 2022 Stoylin Tony Awards. I have one, why not another(if I so choose)?. No need to time the loading action; the soap just jumped right onto the brush. Very well done all around for the shave itself, although I missed a spot on the right sideburn area. Zero Cuts, Knicks and Polka-dots. Solid closing action with the Razorock Tuscan Oud A.S. (I forgot to do the Mutamayez cologne). 2 passes, and before the second I added more soap. Super Duper Excellent.
