Lined up for tomorrow. It's a Shave Nation Open Comb that I did not like the LONG handle it came with. It looks and feels much better with the Razorock Bulldog handle.
Notice the head is slightly mal-formed so, the blade does not sit correctly. I have shaved with it before and that did not seem to hamper the razor at all.
We shall see how it works tomorrow!

Why didn't you send it back and have Gio replace it?

I know he will but, I did not notice until it was too late to send back. He did replace one that I got before.
I had bought a Fatip Olive wood handle OC razor that I could not get apart! When I finally did, the stud came out of the head!
I see this as making it a unique razor. It did shave OK.

I have a Yates 921 hybrid OC/SB plate on the way and I hope that will be a more agreeable OC plate for my face.

    Hey Barry,

If nobody gave you any grief for using the R41 for this month, I may do the same.
Thanks for setting the trend! :)

thank you Joe.:)the yardley is quite slippery, new /modern soaps seem nowhere near as slick. I was quite impressed and can imagine many folks shaving with it back in the day.sodium tallowate is the first ingredient:eatdrink047:

Despite being socially acceptable, I decided to shave because I wanted to be clean shaven for church services. Loaded the brush with a pasty sample and did a facelather by continually adding droplets of water to the tips. Achieved a nice, slick creamy lather that is typical of Razorock soaps.
Two passes gave me a BBS shave without incident. The alum feedback was negligible. Finished the shave in my usual way. Enjoy the rest of your day.
