Lather: LEA Classic Sensitive Shaving Cream.

Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head./Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:

Early morning shave,

An enjoyable shave to finish the month off wonderfully.

My month open comb razor focus has been a joy, especially my reacquaintance with the Yaqi DOC Mellon.

In the November focus I will alternate both the Parker 87R & 94R razors weekly for my face shaves pairing them up with the Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack blade, & will continue to use a variety of Cartridge razors for my head shaves.

Tonight is Halloween night ever since I was kid it has always been something I've looked forward to.

Parents uncles, aunties, grandparents, friends, neighbours will be having the usual mass visiting Trick-or-Treating presence from Wolverines, Michael Myers, Witches, Werewolf's, Father-In Laws, Mother-In Laws, Zombies, Vampires, Frankenstein's, Mummy's & Daddy's, Beetlejuice's, Batmans, Batwomen, Jokers, Freddy Krueger's, Chuckie's, Jason Voorhees knocking on the door queuing up for the boat load of goodies people have for them around the world to mark this 'spooky Halloween Trick-or Treating event.

Something That I always mention on Halloween is don't forget to keep your pets indoors and safe from harm while enjoying the spooky & soon to come bonfire-Guy Fawkes night (UK) festivities.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Nice shave this morning for Throwback Thursday. Clean and clear all over. One pass. Goose-eggs on cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots. Proraso's foam is quite the canned product. The Pro Refreshing A.S. was a success. Closed with Halston cologne. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Outstanding Barrister & Mann shave this morning. I picked up a sample of this soap as I thought it would be perfect for today’s festivities. The scent profile is as follows: “
Inspired by the deep-rooted history of witchcraft in New England, here is an elixir of arcane delight, a construct of hypnotic, narcotic allure. The dulcet tones of broom flowers, so captivating in their elegance, are blended with notes of violet and honeysuckle, flowers known to waylay and ensnare the unwary.

The green dustiness of tarragon, the spicy tang of nutmeg and wormwood, and elemental, primordial notes of oakmoss, oud, and woodsmoke bubble from the depths, bathing the flowers in their eldritch glow. Additionally, with a bit of OUD in the scent this shave classifies as the last of my OUDtober shaves.

The custom Rod George Catacomb 2 fitted with the Suneko blade delivered a comfortably close shave. My face is silky smooth 8 hours post shave.


The Derby City Small Batch Winter Reserve paired nicely with the soap.
