Outstanding shave Barry. Love the Vigoroso. I use it sparingly as it appears to be no longer in production. So sad. I do have the Floid Ge hi e but enjoy the Vigoroso more.

I wanted to get the last shave in for October so I went with my trusty Dovo shavette.
Egads! This blade is still sharp after 17 passes. Three error-free passes gave me an enjoyable BBS result.
Picked the PAA/King R Emporium because it gives a great lather and I want to use it up. Therefore, I will be using this soap more frequently in the weeks ahead.


I had very minimal alum feedback so that's always a good thing. Splashed on the witch hazel and the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave to top off this shave. Take care.

Oh, well I knew about the bar soap-just windered if they had shave soap as well. My bathroom isn't big enough for me to try shaving with just a block of soap.

You'd just have to see it to know what I'm talkinabout. Wish my shower was larger and more fancy.

 

if you can swing an arm with a brush on a soap puck ,you can on a soap bar,,AND even wash with it..even less room used..

 

Well, I thought about that, but I'd have to get a large dish for the bar, and then find somewhere to KEEP the dish and bar later(not to mention, the soap suds that form). I know, I know, I am not that creative in such matters, but I just need moe room to work with. I'll just wait for them to invent a puck, and meanwhile use it for hand-washing. This explains why I had issues shaving with MWF and Williams.

Thanks, Joe. I've never tried the Floid Genuine version, apparently the only difference is the Floid Mentolado Vigoroso version aka, " The mentally vigorous" as I refer it to has more menthol in it. I've also never tried the amber black, or blue versions either of which have different scents, but I assume all contain menthol.
I consider myself lucky to have a spare 400ml bottle of the Vigoroso un-opened which will keep me going for a while. A wonderful aftershave splash.
