What do they have to do with Stewart? Unless he had his opener after Beck&Faces.

Busy day hence the late post. Noontime shave due to working on outdoor activities such as trimming some brushes which will make it easier for the pool guys to get to the pool equipment on Tuesday to close the pool.

I decided to bring out one of my heavy hitters in the scent department as I was heading to my niece’s engagement party later in the afternoon. The DG/CL GLS is a classic and well pronounced scent. The scent profile is as follows: “This scent is inspired by Gratiot's trade and features tobacco, leather, rose, clove, nutmeg, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, musk, bergamot, and amber.”

The TI delivered a super close and comfortable shave with my usual three passes. The alum report was silent. My face felt super smooth and irritation free.

I hope you all had a great day gentlemen.

    Growth: Two+ day beard.

Prep: Warm shower: Stirling Sheep bar soap

Pre: Washed face with Stirling Glacial unscented pre-shave soap then reapplied before lathering.

    Brush: RV 25 mm STF

Lather : Razorock XXX Italian shaving soap

    Blade: Feather - Pro Super (D 3.5)

    Razor: Razorock Hawk V3
    Base Plate: A
    Handle: Razorock UFO

Post: unscented Stirling witch hazel and PAA Mysterium Serum

I did a two pass shave with with touch ups in the mustache area to get the stubble directly under my nose. I had a few dots in the chin area and had a weeper directly under my nose. I had a little razor burn where the dots were and where the weeper occurred. BBS.

I think the standard plate works better for me with this particular blade.

Micromatic Menthol Monday! Cool morning here. Good day to cut wood. I am building a stack before I bring out the wood splitter. I will split all of it at once.

    Razor - GEM Micromatic MMBT
Blade - GEM Personna SS (4)
    Pre-shave - Proraso Green
    Soap - Proraso Green (Bloomed)
    Brush - Simpson "Commodore"
Post shave - Thayers Toner (unscented) & Geo F Trumper "Skinfood" sandalwood
AS - Pinaud Clubman "Whiskey Woods"

I will shower later after working on wood. Washed face and warmed the scupper & brush with HOT water. Bloomed soap for a few minutes and thn loaded brush over the scupper to create a bunch of warm lather that cooled the face on application. I did a 2-pass shave WTG & ATG with no cleanup. Pleasant and smooth afterwards. Alum bar was silent. I think I have the technique down well. No cuts, nicks, or weepers.

The bullet tip is a nice shaver! Tomorrow I will use the Star 1912. I want to finish this blade this week to end the month. No shaving buddy this morning. He stayed downstairs lounging near my chair waiting for me to come back down. LOL
