I don't like the "big bucks on the net" persuasion. I learned my lesson, buying a Rise Foam on E-Bay, but it wasn't NEARLY the same as when I ordered it for a good deal when they(Rise)had a website. Shux.

Todays Shave was a 10/10 at 8:55 am where the shave was mostly on dial 1 but problem areas including chin got a dial 2. Today is shave 3 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

I timed a new blade no shave lotion soap due to shaving after shower at about 6 minutes 40 seconds total incliding the clean down and dial ajusting back and forth.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved today after the shower to save time but I did keep the blade wet to help the shave out.

Yeah new items or even used on e-Bay can be a gamble like it was with the Persona dispenser blades I ordered that were supposed to be from 2004 or so but I suspect that was when the e-Bay seller bought a bunch of old final era of doble edge Persona dispenser blades made in the early possibly mid 1990's on e-Bay for cheap the seller is now selling for the price of what are new blades and is down to the last 10-11 in the 3 packs. I can tell these are 1990's due to two things, one it is missing a website most items would have by 1998 and two the logo was changed in 1995--1998 for Persona items without that line under the name logo using a wider version of the faux western font then the thin style they used prior. The blades are part of the gift I am giving to my dad adding 50 more blades from Personna German reds in 5 packs for 64 blades total. I once ordered in 2020 a reproduction Nintendo 64 controller on e-bay with the Gamecube type joystick, and the cord was so short I had to buy an extension to use the controller. I also bought a licensed remake of Mario Cart 64 that was fine no changes except they had made the colors a bit off as in the sharpness of the colors was off a hair brighter no matter what I did to my brothers old CRT TV.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

A simple, but very enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off with no drama. I find the Lea shave stick is absolutely superb, not just for it's price tag, but most importantly for it's performance & post shave feel.

An enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off on a high note.

The Gem Featherweight is a wonderful vintage shaving tool, and a pleasure to shave with.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men Aqua ASL.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Todays Shave was a 10/10 possibly higher if possible where the shave was on dial 2 the whole time. Today is shave 4 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved today after the shower to save time, but I did keep the blade wet to help the shave out though at one point a tad dry, but I corrected the issue .

Very nice Throwback Thursday shave. I'll be re-ordering my Proraso tub and aftershave(from the "Refreshing" persuasion)when done with both. A minute at the Loading Dock with the tub of soap..the brush scooped it up in fine fashion. Clean&clear shave all around. No issues of negativity. 2 healthy passes. Great close with the A.S. I'm not QUITE ready to put them away for the fall&winter, maybe two more uses. As Outstanding As It Gets.

I'll have to look into that DEEP from Nivea. Funny that the French translation for "comfort" is close to the same as the English word.

    :thanks:

I am liking the Adjustable Gillette because as soon as the blade gets a hair dull as long as the blade does not need to be flipped to the unused side, I am going up a bit with the blade by one or two dial clicks, I need to remember to do this always with a very new blade to not go past dial 1 without the blade being a hair dulled in to the sweet spot that is dependent on the blade model/era I have for my 3 types of blades.

    (Single Use DE Blade)

    2 days growth
Same hardware and software again, cold water shave

Today’s Fresh Blade: Euromax day 1 made in India

Really nice smooth blade, not as keen as the Feather, but it makes up for it with some smoothness. I would be happy to use this blade on a daily basis
    Same post/ASL/scent
No blood was spilt. 2 lovely passes

Hope your Fridays turn out well and the weekend even better

When flipping I have to back down a dial or 2 depending on the model/era of blade.
