    This morning fired up my '56 Red Tip with a vintage Gillette Spoiler blade. Perfect mix of smoothness and efficiency.

    just arrived..1950ish #44 or 45 set.

    possible early #44 tech set..but unlikely.

    has the logo and script below the pins and the creased cap with no corner tabs as seen on brit flat bottom new razors.no pat numbers on handle.more likely to be a later #44 new rfb set missing the baseplate and cap.

    Ok, I'm a self proclaimed abc pocket edition buff, but somebody please explain what happened here?!
    89 bids, $450 for a flower set, missing the blade bank, with NO lid liner.
    They didn't even include a pic with the serial number...maybe if it was the first one ever made, but again, with no serial number listed?
    I'm COMPLETELY BAFFLED, what am I missing?
