So I have been looking at various Wackers, can anyone with experience lend their expertise?

Sorry, I can't help you. They are certainly nice looking.

    I have a 6/8+ Horn handled one..
They are excellent shavers, but honestly they are like many of the other "New" production razors a bit finicky about honing, you have to be a little careful with them to make sure you get a pure edge or they can be a little harsh..
I don't want to over exaggerate this however, they are very good razors, and they hone quite easily, but just require a touch more attention toward the finisher..

I consider Wacker to be rightly priced, very good quality

Singing blade, was originally considered to be the extreme hollow grinds, as they "ZZZZZzzzzzzing" as they are stropped :) basically now days most anything 3/4 hollow or more Sings so the term has expanded a bit..
