It really is This morning, I only went for a close comfortable and it was a nice shave, I tried to pace myself and not speed through, and no blood today
Hiya and to think of all things SHAVING to be such a wonderfull thing I hated shaving with a passion! Now, I can't wait to shave
Sincere thanks! Well, the last two days I've rushed and produced small cuts and weepers! Yesterday I found an excellent Gillette gold plated Tech (no date marking) ball handle at an antique shop, I'm cleaning it today and going to use it in the morning. I can't wait to try it. I have a feeling my current DE is more aggressive than expected, or perhaps maybe Derby blades don't do good on it, yet it's probably my technique!
I'd suggest a big sampler pack so you can try a large sampling of blades. You'll be surprised how much difference a blade can make. I have to tell you I dislike Derbies VERY much!! Your technique will improve over time. Some blades I'd suggest in order of cost cheapest to most expensive an Astra SP, BlueBird,Asco,Voskhod,Gillete 7'oclock Yellow or Green pack, PolSilver Super Iridium. Enjoy your new adventure.........
