I definitely like the look of that razor. Can't wait to hear how it shaves.

 

Yes I will post on Monday after I shave. This is the thinnest Edge that Max has actually put on a razor because I really like a very hallow blade with the thin Edge but Max only does quarter Hallows, I did a little test on my arms and it is sharp as anything

I've said it before, I know nothing about straight edge razors, but that one is sweet looking!

Do you know what material was used for the wedge? The translucent scales showcase it well.

Most custom makers who attempt "contemporary" designs wind up Jumping the Shark, in my opinion. Max S. is one of the few who consistently does it well. Congrats on a gorgeous straight, and don't forget to post in the "Straight Shave of the Day" thread!

I agree, it is very handsome, but I just started learning how to master the DE razor. Talk about me and a Bloody Sunday.....that would be me with a straight razor. :>)

 

There definitely is a learning curve using a straight but it is very rewarding once you're able get past that time

 

Sure there's a bit to learn, but it's only a matter of more blade exposure.

 

The razor shaved wonderfully. Smooth sharp and close

 

Looks as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar

 

Yes maybe a little bit stronger

 

Looks to be a wedge or near wedge, my best shaving razors are wedges, all very smooth

 

I really like the scales with the polished blade.
