Adjustable Week 9/3-9/9

This week I have concentrated on getting to know the Progress. Set between 1.5 - 3
But hopefully I will give the Futur a shot later this evening. Probably going to start this one with a 1.5 setting aswell. Using an Astra blade in both razors.

Friday:
Today I used the Gillette Slim set @ 9/Polsilver SI (2) combo,this was my second shave with a new Polsilver SI and I'm still impressed.Very close shave and smooth at the same time.

 

Friday

Last shave with the Voskhod I started with on Monday.
I used my '62 Slim, the same one I used Tuesday. Only today I cranked it up a notch to 7. A little better than at 6. I'll take it.

 

Saturday

Back to the Futur/Red IP combo,Futur set at 2 1/2,very nice BBS shave.

 

This entire week I have used my Fat Boy, theme weeks are a great way to use and learn about a razor.

The Fat Boy, has been one razor that I have not mastered, this week I not only mastered it, but I have really enjoyed the great shaves it has given.
I have learned the Fat Boy, is a razor takes a gentle approach and demands your attention and respect. Learning it's personality this week, I have been rewarded daily with near BBS.

Theme weeks are not only fun, it is good way to master the technique of a razor. When a theme week comes week try it and you never know how rewarding it can be.

 

I'm so glad to hear how so many of you have enjoyed this week. I certainly have.
For some, it was getting reacquainted with an old friend you haven't seen in a while. For you, don't wait so long between adjustable shaves next time!
For some, it was a time to focus on just what an adjustable razor has to offer over a fixed head razor. For you, I hope you found the sweet spot every adjustable has.
