There we go! "The Veg", of course, completes my sentence. If youre going to dip your toes into the Pinaud waters, you have to include The Veg in the pond. I love the stuff (they call us the chosen ones lol), but there are many who would say it really does smell like feet in pond water lol. Glad you like Clubman. Its such the classic in the shaving community that love it or not its virtually a must try aftershave. So now, about that Pinaud Lilac Vegital???
You sure your not confusing Clubman with The Veg? Clubman is awesome. Special Reserve is awesome sauce! Clubman Musk is in that area too.
I have some leather apparel, but never noticed the similarity to Clubman Special Reserve. I'll have to check that out. I almost bought a Magna. Ended up buying a Honda Valkyrie Interstate instead. Both are great motorcycles. No longer made.
The secret to Clubman is to get it out of the plastic bottle and into something glass, then let it mellow a bit.

It might be described by some that way, but there are a huge number of 5-star reviews of it on Amazon.
While on the drugstore Aftershave kick I will say Aqua Velva is decent, Stetson is nice, and my personal favorite drugstore AS is Old Spice Classic. It’s not the original but it still smells very nice and feels good on the face. It’s also the only drugstore Aftershave that doesn’t have a powdery dry down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like barbershop scents, but it is certainly what comes to mind when i think of "barbershop scents." I also like Barrister and Mann Seville and Musgo Real classic. You could solely use those 3 and be set.
Esthetics aside, once it's put into glass it begins to lose a lot of the chemical smell it seems to develop when stored in plastic.
