61 here and nary a wrinkle on my face, get that from Mom. Hair still Dk. Brown, except for around the ears and down, salt and pepper goatee. So, overall not bad but considering my back injury from years ago. My mind still the same, imaginative and still watch cartoons.
I used to say that The Good Lord gifted me with a strong back and a weak mind. Then I started having back problems. Got nothing going for me now.
My dad always told me to marry a girl with a weak mind and a strong back.....I did right the opposite and I have been in trouble ever since.
Hair is just a PITA. I am lucky to still have a Full head of hair, no thinning. I chop it all off, during the summer, because of all the heat in Houston. The wife likes it longer, but I prefer short military cuts. Constant battle about it, with her. Most guys I work with have shaved heads, and none ever said they wished they had a full head of hair. Just work with what you have, and for Gods sake, dont do a Skullet Cut.
My husband started to lose his hair in his early 20's. His solution was simply a sense of humor (one of the first things that drew me to him.) I recall on our first date, he launched into a monologue of bald jokes, including his claim to have switched from shampoo to Endust. At this point, he shaves off what little remains. He looks more youthful and quite sexy.
I have been shaving or buzzing my head since I was about 19, but the last few years I have been scruffy. 3 days ago I buzzed and shaved all but my van dike. My wife says I look 10 yrs younger.
My husband admits that he likes it when it comes out nice & shiny because it makes him look healthy. I agree with him on this.
72 years now. Sigh**** Can remember as a youngster going into the shoe department and stepping up onto the foot x-ray machine and watching my toe bones move as I wiggled them. Ahh the memories.
