For those who are wondering, it costs $15.45 to ship plus $0.75 for delivery confirmation/tracking.

Keep your eyes open, we'll be doing it again once this round is done. It's an ongoing thing!

I wouldn't be surprised if once this is over, there will be a ton of la famiglia razorock soap in there. Count me back in for the next round, I found some more stuff to put in the box.:) What was it called before? I've done searches for "travel box" and other variations but only turned up this thread.

It used to be called the Grab Bag. I know we've been doing it for at least 2 years.

Thanks. I heard it referred to as the BAWX, bag and other names over the years but I couldn't find the threads.

    Interesting reading here.

I was rereading this thread and noticed Fishcrow was the one who put that Colonia Rue Water in there. Man, Fishcrow, that is some seriously nasty smelling stuff. I almost threw it out, but remembered at the last minute that someone somewhere must like it or they wouldn't make it.

Thanks Ryan for getting the box off quickly. Thanks for bringing the brushes back to life.

No problem, Brad. It was fun and interesting to see if any could be salvaged. As it turned out, they all could be. Just a note to future recipients of the box, the horsehair brush has no hair in the center of the brush. This is how most horsehair brushes are sold, it is not a defective brush. So don't toss it for that. If you need to throw stuff away to make room for better stuff, go ahead. Start with the broken electric razor and the body sprays and lotions. If there is enough decent stuff, we can put together a PIF package for Newbies. That seems to happen every time the travel box goes around.

Edit: After testing the Godrej fresh lime and Merkur blades I've decided those two are definitely going to be returned to the travel box (unless my local wet shave buddy in Salem likes them.) He likes the Godrej so it is out of play.

I liked the Figaro so much I ordered 2 more from shaveabuck, along with one of the other Hungarian creams, and 2 Lea sticks (which are supposed to be better than the Bea stick, which I already like). The Bea stick i removed from the box may find it's way back in.

Cavare, I hope you are ready for the box to land on your door step tomorrow.:D

Checked the Tracking #. Took longer than I thought, but, "Wake Up Cavere!, the postman's here!" Out for delivery! I want an update! Is it there yet? Is it there yet? .. .. ..... ...?

"Travel Box 2012" is making it's third stop soon. It is great to hear that the box is moving along nicely.

It's here!! But I am using all of my willpower to resist opening it until I get my work done for the day. I will update later.

    So excited.

First off a caveat for any other members whose significant others may be pregnant. Do not open the box in or near the bedroom. I've been getting yelled at for the last twenty minutes for the overwhelming scent of shaving products.

There is some great stuff in here! Great job breaking in those brushes planofman I will certainly be snagging one for myself. I'm still deciding what to grab and what to put in.

Thanks. I guess someone should have mentioned the extraordinary...strong...house filling...soapy smell...:ashamed001:. Sensitivity to smell usually decreases after the first trimester, if that is any consolation.
