    Congrats on your first grandbaby.

    The box is now officially across the Mississippi. Thank you everyone for moving the box along so quickly. MMMMMM BBQ Sauce for AS, we might me onto something.:D

    I sorted through the box and after a lot of deliberation and bartering with SWMBO I made my selections. A side note to PLANofMan and blanka I did not remove the BBQ Sauce. :happy102:

    So here is what I took from the box: :)
    • Straight Razor
    • 1 Shaving Brush (re-knot candidate)
    • 1 Brush handle (re-knot candidate)
    • Palmolive Shave Stick
    • Honeybee Soap Sample
    • Metal bowl with the small brass funnel
    • Voskhod Teflon Coated Blades
    • Super Iridium Blades

    This is what I added to the box: :git:
    • 1952 Gillette Black-tip Super Speed (X2)
    • Feather Hi-Stainless Blades (3)
    • Derby Extra Blades (5)
    • Vanilla Mint (Shave Sample)
    • Dr. Q's Lavender Shave Soap (local Memphis Soap artisan)
    • Every Man Jack A/S Balm (Signature Mint)

    I took the box to the Post Office and dropped it down the chute after hours. It will leave Memphis, Monday on its way to Georgia. The tracking number is: 9101150134711449413106 :happy096:

    wlmcad - I'll be on the lookout for the box. My little stack of shaving goodies is bagged and ready to go. I may have to keep that biscuit!:p

    If I had to guess when the box will arrive I would say either Thursday or Friday especially with the July 4th holiday Wednesday. Enjoy! There is a lot of stuff to choose from in the "almighty traveling box".

    As of 11:40 am, July 3, 2012 the "Travelling Box" has been processed through the USPS Sort Facility in Atlanta, GA 30369. It is moving along at the typical US Snail Mail Pace! :cool:

    What is the due date for your little one? My first Grandchild is due to arrive no later than Tuesday, July 10. This is the induced pregnancy date, the baby is already pushing 9 lbs and the OB/GYN does not want to deliver a 10lbs baby! :eek:

    Conrad1959 - Don't know if you ever get down to the Griffin area any, but if you do let me know after you get the box and if my work schedule permits I'll meet up with you. Otherwise it'll probably be cheaper to mail it :)

    Trainer7 - I'll get the box sent on to you as quick as I can. Of course I'm sure SWMBO will totally understand you missing the big event to go through the box, after all you'll only have the box a few days and you have the baby for the rest of your life:happy097:

    Uh, on second thought I say in enough trouble with mine! Definitely don't want to add on to that, so it might be best to hold off on going through the box if the baby decides to interfere with it:)

    SWMBO is a sweet Southern girl who puts up with this Jersey guy... she doesn't even honk when the person in front doesn't immediately move when the light turns green...
    She has had a very good pregnancy and now we have only 2 weeks left... I think the box will come in time for me to rumage through and trade out soem goodies.

    I keep hearing the Bill Cosby comedy bit in my head... the one where his wife in in delivery and stands up in the stirrups, pulls his bottom lip over his head, and screams, "you did this to me!" or something to that effect. It's been a while since I heard it.

    WOW! 4th of July delivery! USPS must like you a lot. I didn't think they delivered on any legal holidays except for Christmas (their big selling point against UPS and FedEx).
