I had archery in high school. I found it to be relaxing much like fishing. And as always very competitive. If my memory is right, the girls dominated the boys.

I hate it when the targets jump out of the way of my arrows; don't you?

Those Minions do like to play tricks, don't they?

Ive been shooting since I was a kid. I used to compete and actually came in second place in the second largest indoor archery tournament in the world, The Atlantic City Archery Classic. I also used to shoot 3d courses and have been an avid archery hunter for as many years. Thats where it started (archery hunting) and where it seems to be ending up as well. I no longer compete, but still Bowhunt.

Clearly, you still enjoy archery, which is the important thing.

I raised my draw weight, just a pound, up from 29 to 30. It made a surprising difference.

I hope it just takes a little time getting used to it! (it probably does) :)

Of course. My shoulders are a little sore, but just a little. We will be shooting again today.

Did you find you were able to hold more steady? What is the biggest difference you noticed?

I enjoy it very much, yes. I always will I think.

It did seem steadier and a bit faster. My shots were grouping more closely.

Nice. Feels good when you make a change in equipment or setting and see an improvement right away. Thats awesome.

Undefeated again! We had another club tournament at which I was, once again, the only Senior Female. But my shooting was sloppy; my score was only 216. So, despite being unhappy with my score, it was still fun.

Great going, Sara! Sloppy shooting and still winning! :p

As it was a morning event on the day we set the clocks ahead, the turnout was small. It was just me & 2 guys who are much better shots (I hate to think of being a worse shot). They know I am a beginner & they are so nice & encouraging to me. I know I will improve with time & effort.

She was chronically perky. Here is a pic of the new sight.
