I had archery in high school. I found it to be relaxing much like fishing. And as always very competitive. If my memory is right, the girls dominated the boys.
Ive been shooting since I was a kid. I used to compete and actually came in second place in the second largest indoor archery tournament in the world, The Atlantic City Archery Classic. I also used to shoot 3d courses and have been an avid archery hunter for as many years. Thats where it started (archery hunting) and where it seems to be ending up as well. I no longer compete, but still Bowhunt.
Nice. Feels good when you make a change in equipment or setting and see an improvement right away. Thats awesome.
Undefeated again! We had another club tournament at which I was, once again, the only Senior Female. But my shooting was sloppy; my score was only 216. So, despite being unhappy with my score, it was still fun.
As it was a morning event on the day we set the clocks ahead, the turnout was small. It was just me & 2 guys who are much better shots (I hate to think of being a worse shot). They know I am a beginner & they are so nice & encouraging to me. I know I will improve with time & effort.
