Since this thread is off and running again, here is a picture of my Hoyt bow, with the riser repainted.
Today is a sad one, for archery here on a Staten Island. I learned, earlier today, that my first instructor, Pete passed away yesterday. He was in his late 70’s and had a heart attack. He taught so many people here the foundational skills of archery, the necessary safety skills, and even how to buy a bow. This was always done with warmth and humor. All the fine work he did for me and the whole Local archery community was done as a volunteer. Heaven has another angel now.
