Well, I must be getting better. I managed to break a nock & shoot one arrow through the vane of another. So today, I learned how to re-nock an arrow. I guess I had better learn how to re-fletch them too.

 

Great... now she's telling nock nock jokes and fletching in the same vane.

 

I joined the local archery club today.

 

Just in time for Duck Season!

 

Wabbit season!

 

That must make target practice vewy difficult.

 

I haven't seen any wabbit or duck targets, though I have seen ones with dinosaurs.

 

It's been since High School, back in the day before Bret Michaels used hair extensions, but I used to be handy enough with a compound bow to hit the center on a rifle target with some regularity.

 

We got duck targets. Amongst others. Even some pink fluffy space monster with three eyes. No puttytats or wabbits.
Oh, and dart targets. One Hundred And Eighty!

 

I want to see the space monster targets!

 

I got to shoot at 20 yards tonight. Last time I shot at 20, I was 20.

 

archery is one of my favorite pastimes.​

Just picked up an Olympic bow in December and love shooting it. I'll post some pics next time I'm out shooting.​
