Years ago I installed a set of the filtertrons in an Epiphone Dot. Sounded great, wish I would have never sold it.

Them not be humbuckers, them be filtertrons, for that twangy Memphis rock a Billy vibe:)

I've used my Gibson SG for a SOTD prop more than I've played it in the past couple of years.

Its an early 80's vintage that belonged to George Call who plays/played in the heavy metal band ASKA.

I owned a couple Les Paul knockoffs and an Aria Pro II bass in the early 80's.

Yes. A rockabilly/country-western twang is what we got here.

I love those Electromatic pickups. You can get a really nice jangle out of them. I want the below guitar even more than I want a 12 string Rickenbacker (but I wouldn't say no to either!). Maybe one day.

It was quite noticeable how silent the amp remains until you actually hit a string. The 60h hum is essentially absent. Granted, I am running it through a lower end 100w Fender Rumble digital combo amp, but with the built in overdrive circuit and the tube emulator, it sounds really good to me. I can only imagine what this thing would sound like on a vintage Fender or Marshall head. Would be a fun guitar to mess around with delay and fuzz pedals too!
