Anyone else tried the Barbasol Pacific Rush AS Balm

I bought the Rush and the Brisk since they were side-by-side on the shelf. I prefer the Brisk over the Rush. When I shaved with Mama Bear's Lilac Ice and slapped on some Brisk I definitely had an icy feel to my face!

 

Warming certainly would help but I didn't. All I did was let it sit for a little while and then I went back and shook the bottle, and then when I went to use the bathroom, I'd try to remember to shake the bottle some more. They all dissolved though.

Have to say I love PR ASB now. Of course I loaded it up with menthol crystals. What a difference.

 

Same here. After adding a few menthol crystals, it was great.

However, I added too much menthol to the first tube I tried "adjusting" -- I had so much menthol in it that it made my eyes water, so I had to use a second tube to dilute the first.:happy102

 

The Balm has the same scent as the Barbasol Pacific Rush Shaving Cream, it is not the same scent as the Pacific Rush Aftershave Splash (not even remotely close to being the same smell).

I tried the Pacific Rush Balm once, or twice. The scent was very meh at best, and nothing to get excited about.

I ended up giving it away as part of a newbie starter kit.

 

I didn't much care for the balm either until I added a few menthol crystals to it. Now, I like it very much.
