Van Der Hagen is a Weishi, right? Cella here has a big army of die hard followers and the scent is considered a classic. It's very indicated to those with very dry skin, because it's very slippery. To the point where i 've read some complaints from people with oily skin, complaining that it's so slippery that they have to do multiple passes. The only "controversy" i 've read about it, is that it appears that it doesn't really have almond oil in the ingredients. To the point, that i read someone who adds almond oil by himself and mixes it with the normal Cella to give it stronger scent.

The best description that i 've read about it, was "shave as if you would shave a baloon without popping it". Worked fine for me. At least as far as non bleeding goes. And i seem to get constant BBS or DFS with anything but Derby.

HAPPY EASTER! Today is also my birthday!

I went with some products that are favorites of mine. I love this soap and don't use it enough. The G1 was my first injector and it led my down a path of using all injectors and SEs. The badger brush is a re-knot but the handle was from my great uncle, and finally Fine American Blend is my favorite aftershave. Nice shave and looking forward to a busy day!

Wonderful Easter morning shave today. The scent of the Leviathan is one of my favorites and the performance is top shelf. Just 2 passes today for a DFS, BBS in most places but I didn't chase it. Have a great day folks!

OK, easter knot suggestion time for dad's handles: I've got a 24MM elite razor manchurian coming for the tall handle, but the short handle only has a 21.5 MM hole, so I need a 20 MM knot for it. Looking to mix it up a bit. Go! (Oh, and more importantly, happy Easter! He is risen...)
