    Beautiful gear and photo, Danny. Some great observations about the Open Comb as well. Are the heads identical save for the open comb?
    It is a highlight, no doubt. I usually stay on the sidelines and assume a cheerleader role. I do participate in the yearly popsicle stick/hockey tape/open blade bloodletting, though.
    Save for my attempt with the useless Sayuri.
    Ditto. Try a 3rd bag...

    Terrific picture and write up, Joseph! Too bad the wife doesn't like the scent. WK scents definitely seem to be polarizing. Their performance is as good as it gets, though.

    A great write up, Joseph. That knot seems lost in that wide handle. But then I guess a lot of vintages have that look.

    Love the look of the black and white, Jim! Not the usual EJ89 handle, but very cool. The Soap/Splash sound like winners as well.

    When I discuss my journey with 'the unwashed' the normal assumption is that an open blade is more irritating than a multi blade safety device.

    I found quite the opposite. It is amazing how little energy and inertia it takes to sever hair with edge forward DE blade.

    I was amazed at how my other shaves improved.

    During my boot camp (100 days) I planned a time allotment of 1 hour. Not sure what others did, but I recommend that you make sure you set aside the time. I can shave much quicker now.

    I actually don't own any EdT's, Keith, but if I do I think I may start with the Terre d'Hermes. There is just something about that smoky, earthy, orangy scent that really works for me.
