Jive Talkin was ok....I loved the guitar part at the beginning....he just tapped on it without producing any sound-musical sound, that is.

Well, I always loved sports, since I was a kid. I did go to some horse-racing events, like the Preakness(I lived in DC for during the early to mid 80's). Won big on the first race I bet on, never won nearly as much since. Fun to be in the crowd, though.

I was on the Maggard site just browsing and saw the T3 brush. I have read reviews that the Simpson name was wearing off on the T1 or T2 so I backed off. I have enough brushes. Lol! Anyway, the T3 looks like a soap destroyer Jim. Congrats!

i love my simpson commodore and special.,but they are small .but under $100.i love the bigger ones but have a hard time justifying the cost.for $250 it must do some amazing stuff..it's almost status symbol like..

The Simpson Trafalgar T3 is 28.50 at Maggards. Not sure how much status that gets me, nor do I care.

You and I are on the same page. My most expensive brush is the C-Mon Heritage and that was under $90. My avg cost was approx 35 dollars per brush so that is reasonable for me. I can't see spending money on luxury brushes for hundreds of dollars even if I could afford to do so. Same thing goes for safeties. Straight razors are a different story because that's my priority, but out of the 13 straights, only 3 of them that I purchased went over the $100 mark and under $150. So, I have been frugal with my spending. Now, the money that I will be getting under the CARES act will give me some serious play money that would allow me to purchase a custom straight razor or a prized Novador. Am I going to do that? Maybe, maybe not. Bottom line: we spend our discretionary income on what we desire. It's all good.

that's cool.i was speaking of their old school line in general..do you find the higher dollar simpsons to be better brushes to your cool replica brushes?,or a brad sears, kent or thaters..

I don't own a Brad Sears, Kent or Thater so I can't comment. If your asking about my Simpson CH2 synthetic it is definitely a unique synthetic fiber in comparison to my other synthetic brushes. Better? That's subjective. All my brushes will create a lather.
Right now I'm enjoying all the variety I can fit on my shelves.

very cool.fair enough.i am in the market for a 24mm higher end shave brush just for those special shaves with the 'crats and stuff.a traditional simpson would fit that scenario.
