Interesting comments on the Oumo flattop...mine for the 400 is due to arrive today as well. Will see if it has the same issue.

The Castle Forbes Lime isn’t for everyone? I suppose so...there probably are some folks out there that don’t like a super slick lather in a great, straight up Limes scent.

Sounds like a great soap focus for the month, Joe. You are well on your way to finishing 5, no question.

 

Looking forward to your focus, Jim. I think you’ll make a pretty good dent in that soap for sure. The gelled boar gets some mixed opinion, glad to hear it is a winner for you. That soft soap will help?

I’m in for April.
For soaps this month, I’m going to continue working through the Strop Shoppe Baker Street twice a week (2 of 6 shaves? Is that a 1005.7?) as well as rotating through my four newest soaps for something different. I bought the SV Desert Vetiver and the Haslinger Sheep milk in the last year for sure, and received an A&E and a Mike’s in trade with Gary. Seems like a good 4 to go with.
For brushes, I’ll get plenty of days in on Evan’s LE masterwork and my 400, which came generously and unexpectedly from Dave. The knot is scheduled to arrive today after taking the Slow Boat from the Far East.
For razors? Clint’s Anything Goes April seems like a good plan.

I tend to agree with you Joseph! She tends to scream her notes. I picked this vid because the others didn't do it for me. I also didn't like Ethel Merman's voice as well. It was like chalk screeching on the board to me.
