I have encountered a few people whose names were a remarkably good fit for their occupations. In the “Perfect “ category, I put a ceramics teacher named Mrs. Potter and a dance teacher names Mrs. Trotter. In the “Apt but unfortunate” category, there was a Ear, Nose & Throat specialist named Dr. Finger. “Honorable mention” goes to a foreign language teacher, with whom my Dad had worked. His name was Mr. Berman. You guessed it- he taught German. Needless to say, he was known to students as German Berman. You can’t make this stuff up.
I know of a physician whose name is Doctor Doctor. I'm also aware of a podiatrist whose name is Doctor Foote.

I've known two dentists whose last names were respectively Dr. Fear and Dr. Paine. A judge named Slaughter. The same family of audiologists (3 generations) I've been going to since I was a child all have the last name of Hand.
My childhood doctor, who went on to maintain a close friendship with my Dad and the family, was named Dr. Treat. I mean.....he treated whatever ailed us, y'know.
I recall a music teacher, at my high school, named Mr. Ramon Musiker. I have recently learned that his son Lee is Tony Bennett’s accompanist.
In my childhood hometown in NJ, there was a doctor's office on our corner: Dr. Akey. Down the street was a dentist named Dr. Gentile.
During my days in the Air Force, ran into Sgt. Sergeant. In all seriousness, I did consider becoming a Maine Forest Ranger. I've often wondered what people would have said meeting Warden Warden.
You beat me to that one Steve. I spent a long time in the Air Force and have known Sergeants of almost all the ranks. Even one General Sergeant.
