Aqua Velva Ice Balm -- discontinued?

I'm just kind of curious as to why there seems to be so many product discontinuations lately. I like the Brut balm and I've heard it's been discontinued, and now I find out about the demise of the AV balm. Is there some kind of conspiracy against us balm lovers?

 

somewhat true...many months ago, the late great Rolls pointed me to an Ebay auction of 5 new boxes of the stuff for $5, plus $4.95 shipping...I would've bought both lots, but Rolls got the other one
