Thanks a lot for all who have adopted my brushes. Mrs. Jayaruh is happy to see them go to good homes, too. There are just two brushes left. #52 a boar #72 a synthetic $25 adoption fee for either brush. I will take $5 off of two.
#52 and#72 are in the NCAA Championship game, eh? (Sorry to sound silly, but recall my post from about a year ago when I was thinking the game should be called "The Final Two" as that is what it IS,of course.)
#71 and #72 were made from the same piece of pine. I wanted to make a small travel synthetic and these were the result. #71 is on hold for @Carbide Mike . #72 is available for a new home.
I am making room, so I have put together two deals. The brushes would usually go for $40 each. I am offering the JR brush, JR brush/razor stand, and razor for $50 shipped. The stands were made from bird's eye maple. Both razors have nice heavy 4 inch handles that can be used with most other heads you may have. JR#71 has a Maggard synthetic knot, maple stained stand, Utopia razor. JR#152 has synthetic knot, walnut stained stand, and DeFitch DF91 razor.
I have been going through all of my Jayaruh Brushes and giving them a shampoo and cleaning. I have been holding on to too many and need to clean house. If you haven't adopted a Jayaruh brush then now is the time. I am opening adoptions to all brushes. You can find details on my blog page. http://jrshaving.blogspot.com/p/the-jayaruh-brushes.html Brushes marked with an A have been adopted already. All others are available for adoption, even those with NFA. Brush adoptions will be one for $35 and two for $60. However, NFA brushes will incur an additional $10 emotional attachment fee. Please PM me your choice and get your own Jayaruh brush. Members of Jayaruh Owners Club (JROC) will be given 10% discount if they ask. My wife is going to have her top teeth straightened with the new Invisalign system. It is expensive. I told her I would adopt out some brushes and help her out. Let the adoptions begin. Edit: These brushes are not for adoption: #1, 2, 4, 18, 30, 47, 119, 199, 206.
Wow... it's like a klouder of kittens! (or is it fluffy-bummed baby penguins?) Some folks are in for a real treat.
These are #147 (top) and #151 (bottom). They can be had as a set with the matching razor for $50 each. Thanks for watching.
Just adopted my first two; #111 and 112. Still thinking about what knot I'll install, but very happy.
