    I press a stick of Arko into my bowl and keep it on my shelf along with my other soaps. It is just as fresh as I started it 3 months ago. I find no problems with Arko.

    Arko has a very long shelf life, exposing it to air just weakens the scent after a while, but performance stays the same.

    Arko is a great soap, particularly if you factor in the price. I like to turn the scent into a positive. I bought some scent free shaving soap base, added some Bay Rum scented oil, and mixed it with a stick of shredded Arco. This made a great non-drying soap with a fantastic scent.
