I speak Turkish quite well so I had no problem to communicate when I was in Turkey. I had a wonderful shave and haircut from an older barber in Istanbul who I will never forget. What a dear gentleman he was.

I don't mind the smell, but if you unwrap it, it mellows out considerably ans becomes quite a bit nicer to deal with. My main complaint about it as far as my skin goes is it can dry it out a bit for whatever reason.

When I used Arko in the stick form I found I didn't like how it applied, so I used it a couple of times and quit... A month ago or so I bought some Arko in a puck so now I can easily bowl lather it..."I LOVE THIS STUFF"!! The bowl it come in is cheapo so I transfered the puck to a small ZipLoc container.. Does anyone know if you can get Arko in just the puck without the bowl? I haven't used anything else this whole month...I'm really really enjoying this soap in puck form....:)

I've never seen it in a puck without the bowl but smashing a stick into a bowl is easy :) I like Arko best that way too.

Well, I guess this truly proves that one man's treasure is another man's poison... the smell was so horrendous to me that I could barely stand to be around myself after using it :)
